Island Park is a natural oasis in the city and the small kingdom of animals. Designed for the reproduction of animals. It has an area of farm pets and a nature reserve. Access is via two entrances, one near the train station and the other overlooking the city of Rouvroy.
In the Espace Saint-Jacques you will find the butterfly museum. In fact, besides the beautiful collection of insects, the butterflies are visible, and there are many more protected amphibians. I took advantage of a day off, the first Sunday of the month, but unfortunately we were not allowed to take pictures.
The Basilica of Saint Quentin is an imposing building which is visible from afar and the Basilica of Saint-Quentin does not go unnoticed. It has never been damaged by war and is has always been present as a symbol. During my visit I took some photos, like this statue of Joan of Arc, which attracted my attention, among other things, as the stained-glass windows.
