We spent seven days touring the lovely outskirts of Mont Blanc and its paths. We went up in the cable car from Chamonix all the way to the 3842 meters of La Aiguille du Midi, along the way visiting glaciers as La Mer de Glace or Ice Argentiere. The route of the great southern Galcon puts you in front of Mont Blanc from where you can appreciate its grandeur, is the path of L'Aiguilles Rouges and the Lac Blanc. Our base camp was at the Hotel Saint Antoaine in Les Houches, a nice place with a careful attention was the customer and good local cuisine, apart from the sauna and bubble baths that cured our pains and tiredness of the route. Visit Chamonix forces because it is the place that is the capital of the natural and cultural area. It is wroth visiting for all of these reasons, and more.
