Beaches in Tapachula
Beach Linda
(1)
Playa linda is one of the many beaches that makes up Tapachula, and it is famous because unlike others, many people have houses close to the beach and enjoy weekends there, and we have no home, there are places where you can come and have good food, pool, beach and have a nice afternoon. Or even you rent the place to spend the night, and that is a lovely experience, but you must appreciate the sunset . . Beautiful sunsets can be seen on this beach, every visit is a new experience and although I tire of photographing the sunset, I share this beautiful moment spent in the company of my friends, the place where we don´t remember the nae, is tiny but offers service to visitors, no comfort like other restaurants that exist in the area, but very recommended food. The entrance doesn´t have a sign, but we got there easily with the help of a friend. I promised to bring them the name of the place, but what I know is that it is visited by young people that like to spend the night on the beach. It is cheap and good, and photographs never lie.

Well, I have to say, this is a really beautiful place for those who like traversing places on foot. There's a place where you can rappel and everything. There are also cycling races, etc. It's great haha. It's like a water park, but better because of the plants and flowers. Well at least I'm totally with you dpresiones and locked most of the time I felt great ...
Villages in Tapachula
Frontera Corrozal
Corrozal Border is a border town between Mexico and Guatemala, at the height of the Lacandon Jungle. I arrived at night, and the next day was supposed to cross the river to reach the Guatemalan border. First thing is that the boats come with a 20 person minimum, and no one in town wanted to cross! The price to rent the entire boat only for me was ridiculous, so I had to wait until the afternoon, when, thanks to fate a group of 40 Mexican guides arrived who wanted to visit the Mayan ruins of the region to learn more. Then, they agreed to take me, but first we went to visit the nearby ruins of Yaxchilan, a beautiful place along the promenade of the river when you arrive. In Frontera Corrozal, there's almost nothing - one ugly and expensive hotel. I slept in a house that had some tables to eat at, a roof, and some strung hammocks. They charged 2 euros a night, but it's not worth more! Usually you have to visit the immigration offices in Corrozal to leave the country, but there was no one when we left at 6am the next morning, and when we reached Bethel, Guatemala, some 10 km away, we weren't asked for any proof of departure from Mexico.

Bicentennial Park
(1)
The city of Tapachula is on the border and gets hundreds of visitors every year who want to know the area, as well as the neighbouring country. On Sundays many people in the park are of Central American descent, many of them dressed in their costumes. Anyway, back to Bicentennial Park: it was created in order to have more areas where we can appreciate cultural events, as well as enjoy family time in a quiet place and where the family can have a good time. The park has a fountain that kids enjoy and also a kiosk where you can hear the music playing Marimba, very traditional in this region. This park was completed earlier this year, so for those who know Tapachula and have not been recently, this is one of the new attractions of this beautiful city. Check it out!
Beaches in Tapachula
San Benito Beach

This is a beautiful beach, but for many years we passed by the entrance to this area and never decided to change direction, until one of my uncles invited us and we discovered a beautiful place which quietly encouraged me into the sea, the waves broke over the stones and the water movement that came to shore was a lot of fun and don't hurt, I really enjoyed bathing in the sea, it was fun! Note that this place is not so crowded by visitors so you can find quiet although there are rich places to eat, we ate in a small place and sunbathed, the food was OK, nothing special. I hope you like the pictures, we had some cute ones. When you walk in Tapachula, Chiapas ... do not forget to visit this beach, you will love it.

The Tapachula boardwalk is one of the newer additions to this city. I went there to see how it is at night. The atmosphere is very great. You can go with friends and walk for awhile while appreciating the place and enjoying the fact that it gives you time to spend with family, friends, boyfriends, your dog, etc. Even for experiencing that climate. I agree it is a pool that is really nice! And a great park, it is too bad the owners rafael avendaño and claudia leyva miguel aguilar lucila made it based on fraud and deception to people who believed in the project and currently have a final judgment at the court , in the Judicial District, for not repaying the loan that they were granted by the builder for the construction of this pool, which serves as restaurant for an amount more than $ 1,000,000,00 . I pity such people who exist and I urge any business to be careful in investing not the place if not for the owners and not believe me research first before investing.

Tapachula Downtown

It is on the border of Mexico and Guatemala, and it is an enigmatic city because it has a selection of places and visitors can have free access to them, where we found the old central government palace which currently operates as a cultural center and has inside a museum in the zone and has a library and tourist info. In the square roofed they often have cultural events. Tapachula has in its surroundings with Tacana a volcano area, which is part of the coffee route, as this area is rich in Arable land and there are nice places where you can have a coffee and appreciate nature surrounded by lovely mountains, on the other hand Tapachula is 45 minutes from the beach, among the best known is the Puerto Madero and Playa Linda and has a port called Puerto Chiapas, which gets visitors from abroad and in a lovely area. This is just a little bit of the riches that can be found in this state and in this lovely city, Mexico is a country full of natural landscapes and we all enjoy and learn about.
Lakes in Tapachula
Pozuelos Lagoon

Few know this corner of the city and although it is situated next to one of the most visited beaches, few know about it, this gap is amazing and poses an extension of mangroves, one can cross it by boat, the cost is between 250 and 300 pesos at the entrance you can find a restaurant that has food and service launches, so it is very easy access. This lake has a selection of birds, is one of the things that characterizes it, for its closeness to the ocean, a host a variety of fauna and fish, both fresh and salt water, as in the case of white pelicans, ducks, crabs, snails and iguanas and beautiful landscapes decorated by tall mangrove, water lilies and palms. The only bad thing was the hand of man destroying the beauty of the planet. It was sad to find a beach at the end of the route a bunch of trash, the local people have made their attempts to keep this place, creating cleanup campaigns and looking for ways to keep the place clean, even though their actions are not sufficient to solve the problem, it is a sad, but a reality. Returning to the beauty, which I hope they will keep achieving, and the spectacle of birds and fish that jump while you are in the boat is something that happens ..

The Planetarium is new in town, so not too many people know about it. It also has a cafeteria, library media area, telescopes, workshops and exhibitions, that on this occasion we found a dinosaur that was fun attending to see, especially the kids have a good time and finally one of the biggest attractions in the planetarium is the Digital Dome, which features films about the planets, animals and the earth, which by the way gives you a three-dimensional leaves surprised, this experience is fasinante especially if you take children to meet and learn more about the planets and especially the planet earth, for the planet gives affordable prices and interesting exhibitions.
