Enkhuizen was one of the fishing ports which suffered when its access to the sea was blocked with the construction of the dam Today it has a new period of prosperity thanks to the transformation of the dock into a water. In the covered part of the museum you can see seven centuries of the history of this village, and the outside reconstructs an ancient village of the Zuiderzee.
Enhkuizen is a very small town in the north of Amsterdamn and it takes you about one hour by train to reach it. It is a very beautiful and silentbfishing village. Therefore you have to take a walk by the sea.
