    Here you will find both religious and civil monuments, parks, museums, and endless possibilities of Burgos activities offered to the visitor. Perhaps the most important of the places to visit is the Cathedral of Santa Maria, a Catholic church with Gothic architecture. It houses Renaissance and Baroque decorations and the beautiful facade makes it one of the most famous things to see in Burgos.

    Other important religious Burgos attractions include the Monasterio de Santa María la Real de Las Huelgas, a monastery which has some of the oldest stained glass in Spain, and the Cartuja de Miraflores, which is a monastic complex built on a hill about three kilometers from the city center and with stunning views.
