Tucson is the second largest city in Arizona and it has one of the best universities in the state. It's a sprawling and fairly quiet campus. It is surrounded by the Sonora desert and the views are wonderful. Tucson was established in 1700 by a Jesuit and was later developed as one of the most important towns in the Old West. The buildings are a mixture of Spanish, Mexican, and old and new American architecture. The court is the most beautiful building in the city. It has a gorgeous dome that can be seen from from away. There's lots of stuff to do in this city.

Aircraft Graveyard
Just outside of Tucson, you can find the AMARC (Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Center), located at Davis Monthan military base. It has more than 5000 exhibits on display, and it is considered to be the largest airplane cemetary in the world. The photos are taken from the road, but the military base has a museum, open from Monday to Friday, which includes a guided tour of the premises.

Saguaro National Park
Saguaro National Park is situated just outside the city of Tucson, Arizona in the Sonoran Desert. It is over 370 square kilometers big and it is the place where you can find the Saguaro cactus which, although it is one of the most famous of the desert plants, is not found very often in many places. Walking around the park is like losing yourslef in an old western movie and you should always be very careful not to get lost and you must always carry water to drink, because you definitely do not want to run the risk of dehydration. While walking around you should wear boots and sandals, particularly as there are many snakes that lurk on the roads. It's a beautiful place, but there is no other word to describe it which fits better than "desert".

St. Augustine Cathedral
Saint Augustine Cathedral was built as part of the Spanish fort of Tucson in 1776. In the city center near the mountain that they call "A". (There's a mountain in the background of Tucson with a giant "A" painted on it.) At first it was only a small chapel but by 1800 it began adding rooms. In 1966 it was decided that it was not very safe and they began to rebuild the church. The rebuilt church is very beautiful, with a clean white facade and bright inside.
