Crown Center is a covered mall, the perfect place to go in cold weather. With shops and restaurants of all types, you're sure to find something for you. Have a look at the website beforehand, and you can see all the stores listed. There are often activities, too. When I went they had a Legoland exhibition, as well as a great display of Christmas toys and small model cities in festive mode! There's always something new to find here!

The Steamboat Arabia Museum
(1)
In the city of Kansas City, it is in the AAA guide. Not the easiest place to find, but persevere, it's worth it. The ticket price may seem a bit strong, but after seeing all the artifacts, you will feel it is worth every penny. It's a piece of life from the 1850s, a large screen of the cargo of a sunken steamboat that had been hidden under the mud when the river changed course.

The National Museum of Toys and Miniatures
(1)
In Kansas City in Missouri in the United States, the Miniature Museum of Kansas City is a site that has the largest collection of nostalgic toys, fine scale miniatures and marbles in the Midwest. This specialty museum, located on UMKC campus is a few blocks south of the famous Country Club Plaza shopping centre and entertainment complex.
Stadiums in Kansas City
Arrowhead Stadium
American football is THE best sport in the United States. The Kansas City Chiefs haven't done too well in recent seasons, but they have been trying to get better. The experience of seeing a game live is not to be missed. I'm not a fan, but even still, the atmosphere was incredible and I really feel like I learned a lot about American culture. The first thing you see is all the people in the parking lot having a barbecue with hamburgers, hot dogs and beer. They'll even invite you to join them! In winter, you may feel absolutely frozen, but the fans are still screaming ... and no matter who's losing, they keep cheering for their team! If you get the chance, don't miss it.

Country Club Plaza

Fifteen blocks lined with shops and restaurants, this is my favorite place in Kansas City. There are beautiful fountains and bronze sculptures, and the buildings are all Spanish-style. There's even a replica of the Giralda in Seville. One of my favorite places in the Plaza is the Cheesecake Factory, the nicest branch I've found in all the US. You could easily spend all afternoon here, with so many shops to visit!

Castles in Kansas City
Sauer Castle
Sauer Castle is a spooky and interesting visit if you’re in the Kansas City area. The “castle” (really, it’s more of a mansion, but I suppose its spectacular cliff-top setting makes the term “castle” more appropriate) was built by Anton Sauer in the mid-1800’s and since then it has witnessed a series of bizarre and untimely deaths, leading many to speculate that the house itself is cursed and haunted. Honestly, it’s not hard to see why so many consider it haunted. Just viewing the castle from the street is enough to make your hair stand on end: a creepy, crumbling mansion surrounded by overgrown lawns and ominous no-trespassing signs. The haunting legends have made the mansion a top target for local vandals and adventurous teens, but I’d suggest safely viewing the haunted castle from the street. If you’re looking to get the chills in the hot Kansas summertime, the Sauer Castle is defiantly the place.
