Where to stay in Buenos Aires

    Panamericano Buenos Aires hotel
Superb room with amazing views of the lake. We went with on a fly fishing trip, which is very famous in the area. We had a great breakfast that was very well mounted. We took a fishing day-trip organized by the hotel with transfers, snacks, lunch and equipment included. In addition, also had dinner at Restaurant Tinto Bistro, where the food was excellent.

Sheraton Pilar Hotel & Convention Center
We went because my boyfriend won a free night at the hotel (otherwise we wouldn't have been able to, as it is very expensive). Actually, we could have chosen out of several well-known hotels in Buenos Aires, but we chose this one because it offers a perfect combination of good hotel and its amenities and outdoor living, which the hotels closer to the centre don't offer. It's only 40 minutes from Buenos Aires. We arrived at about 16:00 and at 17:00 I was at the spa (there's a sauna, Jacuzzi and heated pool). There is a gym and massage services available, but the latter is extra, so I didn't try it. I was super relaxed. At night we went to dinner at the hotel restaurant and the next morning we ate lots for breakfast. There were many sweets, breads, jams, fruit, yogurt, juices, etc. Before leaving, I went back to the spa while my boyfriend was training in the gym and enjoyed the outdoor pool. We stayed here because we won a free night at the hotel (otherwise we couldn't ever afford to stay here). Actually, we could have choosen from several well-known hotels in Buenos Aires, but we chose this hotel specifically because it offers a perfect combination of amenities and outdoor living, which is what is lacking in other, more central hotels. Faena Hotel Buenos Aires
The Faena Hotel And Universe is a five star hotel, located in the chic neighborhood of Puerto Madero in Buenos Aires. The unique place where this magnificent hotel was built had belonged to the Bunge and Born company dedicated to agriculture and owners of Molinos Rio de la Plata, a leader in the manufacturing and marketing of food products industry. In 1998, when the Manchester brick structure of the factory was about to be demolished, a fashion designer from Buenos Aires, Alan Faena, bought the building and invested 40 million to make the Faena Hotel and Universe. He did it with the help of American designer Phillipe Starck, who is behind other famous reforms and renovations in Manhattan, for example. The hotel has a total of 105 rooms and is next to a complex of 83 departments that make up the universe. The hotel is set differently to the rest of the complez, consisting of a market, boutique, cabaret, bar, library with 500 books and leather chairs, a cozy where you can also enjoy a drink while listening to a pianist play melodies on a rather grand piano, boutique, wine cellar, cafe, restaurants, dining and living rooms. And receiving care is different, because there is no lobby, and when you arrive, the manager accompanies each host and guides you in whatever you need. Personally, I enjoyed a night in the library room, where we saw a young singer from Argentina who had lived in Brazil for a few years, who along with a pianist and a drummer sang melodic songs. While attendees sitting in different corners, like a corner of your house, with chairs and tables of different heights, we took what he wanted each drink or eat. When you come to Buenos Aires, do not miss it.
    Hotels in San Isidro
    Hotel del Casco
Located in the heart of historic San Isidro, this beautiful hotel offers everything one could want if you are looking for peace and exquisite, personal attention. Del Casco is in a beautiful colonial house that was in ruins until its current owners decided to turn it into luxury boutique hotel. It was the first of its kind in San Isidro, and due to hard work, has been a success for good reasons.

    NH Buenos Aires Crillón hotel
The NH Crillon is a four star Hotel, conveniently located one block from the world-famous Plaza San Martin, on the Santa Fe Avenue, at the corner of Esmeralda. It is a stylish hotel that combines the elegance of the architecture and charm of a bygone era. It has 96 tastefully-decorated rooms and offers all the amenities that a hotel of this category normally does. I think the highlight is the location, as you can walk and quickly arrive at most places of interest in Buenos Aires.
    Campsites in Buenos Aires
    LasTejas Campsite
The campsite "Las Tejas" is great, althrough there are many facilities like a deli to buy food (although the bathrooms are not the cleanest). Those who do not want to sleep in tents can be accommodated in an old boat that is on the ground and used as a hotel or in train cars set up the same way. There are ducks, chickens, sheep, peacocks and even lions. At the campsite you can eat on lounge chairs beside the Paraná or go and eat on the ship refitted for this purpose. How to get there: From Federal Capital, the Pan-American head towards Pilar - Bell, then go toward Gualeguaychu Escobar. Cross the Zarate bridge. Once you pay the toll and just go down the same turn to the right onto a paved road that leads to the campsite. The campsite is in the province of Buenos Aires, on the border with the province of Entre Rios.

    Esplendor Palermo Hollywood hotel
This establishment is one of my favourite hotels in Buenos Aires. It is a 4-star boutique situated in Palermo, Hollywood. It offers a great location, and has nice rooms. It is located close to the bars. The staff is attentive. Many people prefer city center, but I do not know why. In my opinion, Palermo is much better, it is well connected to all of Buenos Aires. The rooms are a luxury. I had a great time.

    Hilton hotel
Walking through the streets of Puerto Madero, all named after famous Argentinian women, you'll find this modern five-star hotel where, strangely enough, pets are allowed. It is one of the most beautiful and newest hotels in Buenos Aires. Although I only saw the outside, the building is stunning, with a 600 m2 foyer and 421 rooms. It is an old building that was converted into a hotel, and was opened to the public in March 2000.

    Spa Villa de Merlo Hotel
La Villa de Merlo is recognized worldwide as the world's third micro climate and is located in the western foothills of the Sierras of Comechingones, one of the limits of the extensive Conlara Valley. Both in summer and winter the air is pure and the sky is clear. This spa hotel is centrally located with a panoramic view of the mountains that change color during different times of day. Located very close to the historic part of the area, it offers a large park, playground, paddle, football 5, solarium, bar, restaurant, conference room, internet, wi fi, heating, air conditioning, mini bar, internet access, phone, box springs, dryer Hair, room service, indoor heated pool and a multi-function room apt for conferences, etc. We arrived on a splendid day, cold but bright sunshine and the translucent sky that characterizes the area ... I spent two days but on the third day it snowed, it really was a lot of snow, but really to see those palm trees and shrubs and snow flakes hovering between the clumps of red flowers, was an unexpected spectacle that delighted us. The cost of four days and three nights including half board, spa, one free massage and the input and output transfer costs ninety-nine euros per person including the value-added tax.

    Sofitel Buenos Aires hotel
After visiting many hotels in Buenos Aires and exploring its neighborhoods dozens of times, I have to stay that the Sofitel is my favorite place to sleep. The hotel is beautiful, not too big, exquisite and everything is clean and safe. It is true that the rooms are not huge, but that is offset by other advantages, like te neighborhood it's located in, near the embassies. The breakfast and coffee, delightful!

    Hotels in Tigre
    Isla Escondida Hotel - Closed
Staying in this beautiful English manor house which was constructed in the early 1900s, provides the unique opportunity to experience the inner life of the fabulous Parana River Delta. La Posada Isla Escondida is situated on the quiet stream of the Esperita, 8 kilometers away from the Tigre River Station. The house, which was carefully refurbished, respecting the original materials, such as pitch pine floors and ceilings, walls of adobe and brick dating from the 19th Century, is decorated with charm. It has nine suites with river views, spa, swimming pool, terrace and a beautiful park of two hectares. From the inn, you can carry out many activities, such as boating, rowing in the moonlight, and walks around the island. Highly recommended.
