A good hotel in a great location for visiting Helsinki, right next to the Kamppi metro station. It is a stylish establishment, from the building to the elevator. Everything is very well-maintained. It has 262 rooms, all very spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all the amenities you could need in a hotel. There's a choice of 20 different room designs, and there's a sauna in which you can relax after a hard day's sightseeing. Other features include a business centre, a decent restaurant, and a bar where you can have a drink or a snack. They have an express laundry service (3 hours), a huge breakfast buffet, free wifi throughout the hotel, and a terrace right at the entrance where you can enjoy the warmer weather.
Just off the reception is a small bar with coffee and quick snacks, if you don't have time for breakfast. There's an express-checkout available, if you need to leave the hotel and don't have time to go through reception; late checkout is offered, too, allowing you to wait until 6pm before you leave. All in all, a very recommendable hotel, not too expensive and well located. The cathedral, for example, is about a 15-20 minute walk away and the airport by taxi (40 euros) takes about 25 minutes. It is also just 10 minutes from the train station. if you leave your suitcase to collect later that day, they won't charge you as many other hotels do.

We reserved this hotel by chance, and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. It's a 4-star hotel located a few steps away from the Senate. The rooms are beautiful - bright, modern, and spacious. The floor is parquet, the beds are queen-size, and there's a huge bathroom with double sinks. We chose to order breakfast, and it was very filling: a lot of cakes, yogurts, cereals, breads, meats and fruits. The staff were very polite and friendly - when we arrived, there was a nice personalised welcome message on the TV in the room. The location turned out to be ideal for visiting the city, in fact, the hotel is just minutes from the port and the train station. The view from the window of my room was magnificent: in the morning I could wake up and see the white dome of the cathedral.

With a great location right in the centre of everything important, just 10 minutes walk from all the cultural hot spots and with plenty of dining options nearby ... I recommend having a drink on the magnificent terrace at night, which is warm even when the weather is cold outside. The breakfast buffet on the top floor is great.
