The Boca Chica Hotel was the haunt of the Hollywood elite in the 1950's and is now charmingly vintage yet modern hotel in Alcapulco known for its fun design. Its restaurant specializes in Asian cuisine (I'd recommend the snapper tempura) and sushi. It's a quiet and chic corner of Alcapulco's port area which still, for me, is one of the most lovely areas of the city.
Wonderful hotel. In addition to a great location and excellent view it has everything you need to make your stay a pleasant one, for a small fee you can enjoy the ocean view, room service, valet parking, beach events, and nanny. One cannot even notice the difference between the sea and the pool, just steps from the hotel you find big squares, parks and typical food markets of the country.

This is a huge hotel, with acres of green lawns with palm trees. The staff welcome you with a Hawaiian-style garland of flowers and a cocktail, greeting you on the driveway as you approach the pyramid-shaped structure that is the main hotel. I've never seen a lobby so big: it has a full view of the beach, with three huge pools, each with a bar, a spa, and convention centre, and of course, a private beach, with a guest-only night event space, a tennis court, volleyball court, and auditorium. The hotel stands in one of the most exclusive areas of Acapulco, and the food is delicious, with both Mexican and international dishes on offer.

Acapulco is one of Mexico's traditional beach destinations. It is located on the coast of the state of Guerrero, on the edge of the Pacific Ocean. It's a very international city, where you can find everything - starting, of course, with a solid hotel infrastructure. You can find everything from one-star hotels to luxury resorts. One of the most traditional hotels is the Fiesta Americana chain. This is a five-star hotel, quite big, and with all the amenities and services that you need to be comfortable. It's located on the Costera Miguel German, close to the beating heart of Acapulco. The rooms are simple, with all the services (although you will have to ask if your room has wifi), and you can ask for an ocean view. It has two bars and restaurants, which are pretty good. Ask for a prepared coconut! It has a gym, so you have no excuse not to exercise.
