The Grand Palladium Riviera Resort & Spa was opened in 2005, while the Grand Palladium White Sand Resort had 9 villas consisting of 1-3 plants. Like the Palladium White Sand there are no standard rooms a complex being distributed among its 270 junior suites and 54 suites, although unlike the other resorts it did not have type rooms Mayan Suites. One thing to consider is that almost all hotels with more accounts with 2 bed rooms with king size bed, so the bed wanting 2X2 must be requested prior to booking, but this is very complicated. The decoration of the Riviera was one of the ones I liked, because it draws a lot of attention to the wonderful lobby, the only bad thing was the hotel that was farthest of all, thanks to the little trains but you could move perfectly by all . The hotel pool shared with White Sand Lake, but here was the saltwater pool and bar called "The Rocks", which is held once a week at the White party, imitating typical Ibizan parties. Inside the hotel Grand Palladium Riviera you could choose your restaurant Kabah buffet or unknown restaurant all the complex as was the restaurant Punta Emilia and in my opinion the best of all, with a la carte specializing in rice and fish .
The images speak for themselves, both as a base for sightseeing or to be there for 10 days of total rest in the pool bar, great food, it was "all included" and had the largest spa throughout Latin America, sports of all kinds, evening entertainment .... Anyway, highly recommended. Http :/ / www.Grandpalladiumkantenahresort.Com/
One of the most luxurious hotels in the Mayan Riviera! The Occidental Royal Hideaway is situated in the tourist area of Playa de Carmen, which is in the region of Playa del Carmen, which is nothing more than the tourist area of the Riviera Maya. Along with the beach there is one of the most luxurious hotels in the area with 5 star luxury, and is only 11 years old as it was constructed in 1998. The hotel is spread over villas and in each villa there are 8 or 10 rooms. The rooms are very luxurious with a king-size bed and others with two queen beds. It has AC, ceiling fan, hot tub, telephone, television with DVD player, minibar and a terrace or balcony. Being just 5 minutes from Playa del Carmen, there are other things that you can see in the area, but few are eager to go out with a complex because there is a spa, pools, beds by the pool or on the beach, etc. .. It also has many restaurants, but the is the one belonging to chef Raul Vaquerizo. He is a renowned Spanish chef who won last year (2008) the award for best chef of the year in the area of Quintana Roo.
The perfect hotel if you're looking for total relaxation, and convenient if you want something more than to just spend days lying in the sun. Typical hotel constructed in a long way rather than high, with 2 levels, modern, well equipped, with a long sandy beach, plenty of food and drink (all inclusive) .... In short, a remarkable option if you visit the Riviera Maya.
Everything that I can say about this wonderful resort is Grand Palladium is more than positive. There are 4 hotels within the resort complex: Kantenah, Colonial, White Sand and Rivera. We stayed at the White Sand in a Junior Suite, and the truth is that we loved everything about it. The food is excellent and varied, we always ate in the part of the Riviera buffet, and at night you could choose up to 4 themed restaurants to dine a la carte. The best without doubt, the Mexican and Brazilian.
Hello my name is Jose Aurelio. I recently went to the beach of Punta Arena in the city of Puerto Vallarta. I started taking some photographs of sunsets which went very well and I wanted to do it again, but this time in Cancun. I hope to soon be in Cancun to take photos.
When we went to the Mayan Riviera we were looking for a different hotel, away from all of the "groups of Spanish couples on honeymoon", and we wanted to go to Xcaret eco-park. Ee chose this hotel which is right next door and also gave us free tickets. It is situated in the forest which also attracted us. The hotel did not disappoint us, on the contrary, in addition to being a fantastic place, with several buildings within a complex which has numerous archaeological sites, we found it to be quiet and well cared for, where they served some excellent meals in both restaurants as in the general buffet, with good facilities. We had a great holiday, so much so that if we return to the area we will go back here for sure. The room was huge, with two queen beds, large TV and bar that was replenished every day, good air conditioning and a terrace overlooking the jungle, where every day we awoke to the sound of the monkeys. The overall vibe very good, quiet people, nearly all Americans and a few Spanish who came in the same way that we, The beach, artificial and tiny, but the gardens and other facilities are great. Without hesitation, I would go back.
Staying at an all inclusive resort is synonymous with not having to worry. You're 3 meals a day, snacks, alcohol, cocktails, nachos, beach, and fun are all included. This hotel, without being a luxury, perfectly fulfills its purpose and the value for money that it offers is unbeatable. It's close to everything, but still far enough so you aren't bothered by other tourists who don't have beaches at their hotels (like the ones in the centre). The food is very good and diverse. The beach is just incredible, Playa del Carmen is the best. You won't find these kinds of beaches in Mexico. Simply amazing. For Easter 2012, look for an all inclusive hotel in Playa del Carmen, I recommend the Viva Wyndham Maya.
This is the hotel where I would have stayed to live!! In no other resort I have been treated like such a "Queen" as in the Riu Yucathan. The grounds are beautiful, the food is delicious but what is best is the service! Attentive, helpful, caring ... I have only praise for a team that managed one of the most wonderful stays of my life.
The five-star luxury Hotel Playacar Palace Wyndham Grand Resort, belonging to a chain, deserves its palatial name as it is one of the best hotels in Playa del Carmen. Remember that the other Palace hotel that I liked best was the hotel [poi = 264701] Aventure Spa Palace [/ poi]. For me the biggest advantage is its location next to Playa del Carmen and although it has a total of 208 rooms, it's still a calm and stylish hotel. All rooms are equipped with a 2 person spa tub, mini bar, safe, satellite TV, etc. And most have balconies overlooking the Caribbean Sea. I loved their infinity pool surrounded by loungers. It has 3 great restaurants serving Mexican, Oriental and Italian cuisine, along with 3 full bars.
We hired a Mexican photographer named Monica Gumi, who took some beautiful photos of us on the hotel beach. The staff of the Royal Suite was lovely and the photos were done within 1 hour without any cost. I recommend it 100% as it will be a memory for life and definitely worth it! This is another one of the little things you can do in this wonderful hotel!
A hotel with all the amenities in Playa del Carmen. It is highly recommended since it has many amenities and activities to do such as cycling and kayaking. Of all the hotels in the area this one has recovered from the hurricane. The rooms very clean and comfortable as is the rest of the facility.
The Luna Encantada has an unbeatable location right at the foot of the famous beach known as the town of Playa del Carmen, near the end of 6th Street North. It opened in April 2006 with very modern facilities, all of its 29 apartments have AC, ceiling fan, full bathroom with hairdryer, dishwasher, washer, dryer, stove, refrigerator, balcony or patio, and some of them even overlook the beach. In my case I prefer the infinity pool that's right on the resort's facilities. This is a hotel that I highly recommended if you want to be in the center of Playa del Carmen, in a place as great as the very beach itself.
Given that it is an all-inclusive hotel, my experience was wonderful. It is ideal for relaxing, going on many cultural excursions, and especially for enjoying the emerald sea of the Caribbean beaches. A true spectacle for the senses.
The Occidental Grand Xcaret is a wonderful 5-star hotel located right next to the eco-archaeological park [poi = 61035] Xcaret [/ poi] and less than 10 km from the famous beach [poi = 396881] Playa del Carmen [ / poi]. However, it doesn't have its own beach, only a small private area with sand, so if you are coming to Mexico to take long walks on the beach, perhaps there is a better hotel for you. Other than that, the hotel is great with 769 rooms equipped with everything from air conditioning, ceiling fan, minibar, bathroom with hairdryer, iron and ironing board, telephone, alarm and radio, tea and safe. I also think it is one of the best resorts in terms of infrastructure, as it has great facilities where it's impossible to get bored with its 5 swimming pools and 10 whirlpools, or its wide restaurant variety with 11 restaurants, 9 bars and one nightclub with bar.
Want to rekindle your romance? Here you'll fine a lot of activities in Occidental Allegro Playacar. Take a starlit walk with your better half under the palm fronds. Take a crafts lesson. Enjoy our big kitchen and live entertainment for the whole family. Experience all this and much more in the magnificent Occidental Allegro Playacar.
This quiet, friendly, caring and no frills hotel is just 10 km from Playa del Carmen, close to the beaches of the Riviera Maya. The rooms are spread over bungalow type buildings, with two floors and one has eight rooms. Facilities include a swimming pool with a snack bar that becomes a Tex-Mex restaurant in the evening, a Japanese restaurant, two bars, nightclub, amphitheater, disco, souvenir shops, outdoor jacuzzi, volleyball play area, tennis court, basketball court and a gym. It also has a mini club for smaller clients. This is not perhaps the best known tourist hotel in the area so that occupation is not always very high, however, it's acknowledged by Mexicans, who in September when they have their national holiday go for a big weekend holiday where, if it happens during your stay, it is the last straw as it goes from complete peace and quiet to a big party where there's a shortage of everything (food, drinks, towels, imagine!). Quite an experience for a relaxing holiday.
This is a typical all-inclusive hotels offered by any travel agency selling Cancun for a week. The special thing about the hotel is that it has direct access to the beach, but has a bus that takes you there and which also makes a stop in Playa del Carmen, which is a plus.
Are you wondering where to stay in Playa del Carmen? Of course, things depend on your tastes, budget, and what you want from your holiday. Would you rather stay in one of the luxury Playa del Carmen hotels where you can enjoy all modern amenities, or do you prefer to get away from it all and sleep in Playa del Carmen accommodations like the ecological rustic cabins, with no TV or phone?
Along Fifth Avenue, the street most visited by tourists and foreigners and where most shops and restaurants are concentrated, you can find places to stay in Playa del Carmen at an affordable price. Guesthouses, apartments for short term rent, and hotels in Playa del Carmen can all be found in this area.
But if you prefer nature, another option for cheap lodging in Playa del Carmen are the rustic cabins. In them you can relax and enjoy the peace of quiet of nature. But if the thought of living without modern conveniences drives you crazy, Playa Mamitas is the place you want.
