In the capital of Namibia we stayed at the Safari Court, next to the Eros Airport, but you don't the planes, as the busy international airport is further away. The hotel is little old, but rooms are fine, clean, buffet services are good, the pool area is very cool and most of the staff very friendly and competent. They have a van service that takes you every hour with stops in Maerua mall to the City Center and back to the hotel. The only downside is that the Internet connect is a bit uncertain.
A great choice in Namibia's capital. It looks small, but has more than may seem at first. They are a couple of houses, with the terrain well used. It has a variety of bedrooms, from multiple shared, to authentic suites. Bar, large kitchen, cafe with wifi, swimming pool, tour operators, large TV area. The continental breakfast is included in the price. And tea and coffee is available all day, for free consumption. Bed in a Dormitory, 90 Namibian Dollars (about 7 €). Single room with shared bath, 100 DN (about 8 €). Double room with private bathroom DN 230 (19 €). There's a small camping area. It is very clean with nice treatment. Central location and close enough to areas of interest, supermarket and shopping centers. Organize some trips around the country and make up the reservation and bus ticket purchase. Sorry, I must return.
The Kalahari Sands Hotel (Windhoek, Khomas, Namibia) is in the heart of the business district of Windhoek. Las Dunes Restaurant offers a splendid buffet or a la carte and there is the Oasis Bar. There's a business center. The hotel has 151 double rooms, 16 executive rooms, 5 luxury suites and 1 presidential suite, Conference Room, Rooftop Pool, Exercise Room and Casino.
