    Golden Tulip Times Hotel
The Golden Tulip Hotel is in the centre of Bucharest, on Victoriei Street. Victoriei is a historic street with many beautiful sights that you can see on foot. Buses pass towards the centre, and there's also the old tram (cheap but slow). It's best to ask at reception if you need a taxi, because prices vary greatly. The hotel has 83 rooms, some aimed at professionals with a small office included. All have high-speed internet, 24-hour room service, a laundry service, and private parking included in the price. Breakfast is included in the price as well. In the health centre, you'll find a gym - a five minute walk but included in the price. A standard room costs 90 euros, the top executive rooms 110 - 120. Sometimes they have deals available on their website.

    Intercontinental Hotel Bucharest
The Intercontinental Hotel in Bucharest has the fame of being the first five star hotel in the city. You can even see it from far away. It's built near University Square, and most tourist attractions are reachable by foot from this area. It's in front of the National Theatre. The rooms cost about 150 euros per night, and you'll get the good quality you're expecting from an international chain, unlike some other hotels of the same price. The rooms are 30 feet, 60 for the junior suite, you can benefit from many services, including internet access, use of conference rooms, facilities for making tea or coffee in the room, and daily delivery press in the room as well. As a high tower next to a neighborhood fairly low, has great views of Bucharest.

    Hotel Casa Capsa
This house was actually a legendary hotel and restaurant in Bucharest's golden years. In 1874, businessman Capsa's four sons opened a cafe-bakery.. One of them, Grigore, had just spent some time in Paris, where he apprenticed a great coffee maker. In 1881, they opened a restaurant, and later the hotel. This place is fast becoming the meeting place of politicians, merchants, journalists, ambassadors and I think it probably will be for many years. Among them is Paul Morand, the French ambassador in Bucharest during WWII, which promotes Romanian arts. Today, the restaurant is still in operation, and if you don't eat well as before, and after 50 years of communism the place its charm not found before, the decor has not changed much. You can see the heavy lights, decorations lujuosas, waiters in suits ... The Capsa House restaurant is located on Victoriei Street, number 36, in front of the Novotel Bucharest.

    Explorers Hostel
The Explorers Hostel is a great place to stay in Bucharest. It's just a ten minute walk from the train station and city center. The Explorers Hostel is managed by a nice young couple that speaks Spanish! In my case, there were six people sleeping in a huge room. It has a nice kitchen and living room where there is often referring people internet or playing chess. It's a big old house. The upstairs bathroom is super spacious with a huge tub. Place frequented by backpackers who come and go.

    Crowne Plaza Bucharest hotel
This is an excellent hotel, part of the Crowne chain. It is located in a quiet green area, in a residential part halfway between the airport and the city centre. The hotel has modern decor, with large spaces. The rooms are big, well-insulated and clean, as are the bathrooms and common areas. The breakfast buffet is good, with something for everyone, whether you prefer sweet or savoury foods. The staff is friendly, and the receptionists always help. It has a gym and swimming pool, and free, fast wifi. Excellent quality : price ratio.

    Hotel Tripoli
Fifteen minutes walk from the centre of Bucharest, this hotel is one of the most affordable options in the heart of the Romanian capital. It has a restaurant, specialising in Lebanese food. We only tried the breakfast, which was also included in the price of the room. It was simple but spacious, with a second bed for an extra person, making it suitable for families on tight budgets.

    Hotel Intercontinental
The InterContinental Bucharest was the first five-star hotel in the city. We can see the big tower, built near the University Square, from all over the city. Most of the tourist highlights are within walking distance; for example, the National Theatre is just opposite. The rooms cost about 150 euros a night, and compared to some of the cheaper hotels around town, at least here you are guaranteed international standards of quality. The rooms are 30 square metres, the junior suites 60. They offer great services like internet access, use of conference rooms, coffee makers, a daily newspaper ... and, of course, a beautiful view over Bucharest.

    Moxa Hotel
This is a boutique hotel on Victoriei street, which is located in the heart of the city, close to the theater and the main tourist attractions. Most of what you need to do here you can do on foot. If not, there are buses and trains that go everywhere. Beware of taxis, the price is indicated on the door, and some have "tourist prices." They're usually waiting in front of hotels. The classic rooms are decorated with warm colors and modern details. The double room costs 110 euros per night, the deluze 130, is a little bigger. The rooms carry a lot of details that are often skimp on the big chains, like giving shoes, plenty of bath products ... you feel like home. The executive room is 160 euros per night. The difference is that it has a private lounge and espresso machine.

    Novotel Bucharest City Centre hotel
A hotel that suits the price. The rooms are functional, but don't have wifi. The restaurant serves international cuisine, although there are plenty more restaurants nearby. It has a sauna, gym, and indoor pool with artificial waves.

    JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel
The most beautiful hotel in Bucharest. It is, after the Parliament, one of the most impressive buildings in the city, and you'll see it as soon as you enter. We spent one night in this hotel, and loved it. The rooms aren't particularly fancy, but the service is impeccable.

This is a four star hotel with careful and attentive service. All the employees are super nice and at your service for whatever. Modern amenities, good breakfast, free wifi, wellness center. And a great location in the center of the calmer part of the city. Good price-quality ratio. I'll definitely return.

    Hotel Rin Central
Rin Central is a four-star hotel located within walking distance of the shopping area and historical centre of Bucharest, which can be reached on foot (about 25 minutes) or by taxi. The cost is really insignificant - about 2 euros - so if you don't feel like walking, it's not a problem. The rooms are great, the daily cleaning is good, and the staff speak English. You'll find a room equipped with satellite TV, telephone and minibar. There's wifi, too, which you can get by asking reception for the password. Great breakfast buffet, with both sweet and savoury options. A good hotel for a pleasant stay in the city. The surrounding area leaves a bit to be desired - unfortunately, the city still bears the scars of its troubled past.
