If you are looking to disconnect from the world, this is the place you are looking for. Located next to the beach, between Benicarló and Peñíscola there is this four (well earned) star hotel.
You also have the possibility to rent an apartment, but we chose a suite and we made the right choice. The bedroom was enormous, with an independent dining room (with sofa and TV), and a big and clean bathroom.
The hotel has 4 thematic restaurants but we only tried 3 of them: the American (with Mexican specialties and to die for hamburgers), the Mediterranean (good food, except for the paella), and the French. I had never been to a hotel that offered such a big selection of good food (I recommend it).
The views of the sea are amazing and you have the promenade next to the hotel. It is true that to go anywhere you have to take a car, but the hotel is worth it. By the way, the parking situation is a bit tricky.
The Agora Hotel is a 4 star hotel that surprises us with its design, decor and service. The staff is very friendly, while the light and openness are the ideal complement to the Spa (which is also very good) to relax.
The hotel has parking for 9 euros a day, although I could easily park nearby. The facilities in general are pretty good. It has free internet access via wireless although there are signal difficulties in some rooms.
This hotel is across from the imposing parochial church of the town and offers home-cooking in its restaurant and space for 32 for only 20€ per person.
It’s made up of 11 rooms, 4 of which are attics, and all are named after prominent local families. This hostel also has a rural cottage, named the Cottage of Uncle Juan, which is decorated with traditional objects from the region. The space is divided into two areas with wooden walls and high roofs which create a diaphanous space around a fully-equipped kitchen and dining room. It has a sofa-bed, a bathroom, and a master bedroom, although it’s big enough to accommodate two additional cots if necessary.
This summer I had the opportunity to stay two nights in this hotel and enjoy the pool and spa. It is a great hotel, enormous. It has an enormous pool and two Jacuzzis, which are almost always full of people.
They offered us a welcome drink in the cafeteria, a type of pineapple cocktail, we drank it in the terrace, amazing.
The room and the bathroom were spacious, everything was very clean and in great state. They gave us robes, pool towels, slippers. The room had a terrace with views of the pool, a table, two chairs. Very nice.
We spent two hours in the spa’s water circuit. The spa has a sauna, Turkish bath, hot pool, Jacuzzis with different temperatures.
Our rate included breakfast and dinner. The breakfast offered a great variety of things, as well as the dinner, offering different types of salads and pasta, meat and fish. Everything was good.
The hotel is located between Peñíscola and Benicarló, in front of the beach. To go downtown you can take the bus.
The Hotel Gran Duque is located on the beachfront of the town of Oropesa de Mar, Castellón. The Grand Duke is the newest hotel and the most modern building complex, located 330 meters from the beach and 200 meters from the spa. Its facilities include a spa and outdoor pool with solarium. It has 564 spacious rooms, including adapted rooms, all equipped with air conditioning, telephones, satellite TV, piped music, safes, bathrooms with hairdryers and baths or showers and terraces to enjoy the views.
Although we arrived late and left early, we really enjoyed the great location of the hotel Bonaire which is super close to the beach. The lobby is very large and very comfortable and the outside has a fantastic terrace to sit out for a drink. The rooms are very well equipped, the beds very comfortable and the service was super friendly.
The Hotel Servigroup Papa Luna is on the beach and has views of the castle-fort of Peniscola, declared a Historic Artistic Monument in the year 1972. A 4-star hotel , it has 2 buildings and is made for a family holiday, it has all the services and facilities. An example is the Delfi children's club, where children play and learn with the company mascot. For the elderly: an entertainment program with many types of activities and live music. Not forgetting the sun terrace with pool to relax and have a drink in their bar. During the summer, sports takes stage: water in the nearby beach or hiking trails to experience the beauty of the cliffs, beaches and coves, and forts and towers. Roads to places of Sierra de Irta or visit the Castle of Alcalá de Xivert. There are also many cyclists arriving at the hotel to visit the routes. In the field of professional cycling, Hotel Servigroup Papa Luna has years of experience in hosting international teams. Each season, groups of runners from France choose the hotel to begin their training. The place enables units to exclusive use such as garages to park and maintain about bicycles. To unwind athletes and other customers, the Wellness Center has a gym, sauna, steam bath, Jacuzzi, Scottish shower and a range of massages and body treatments. A charming hotel, housed in a superb setting, with exquisite cuisine in its restaurant, ideal for long-stay, short breaks or business trips and banquets. The hotel frequently hosts all kinds of events, they always turn out a success.
This hotel is nice and comfortable and family friendly. It is located near the beach and the promenade of Peniscola. The rooms are equipped with television, bathtub, hairdryer and they are in good clean condition. It also has pool and dining, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, but it is not required to do full board.
The Holiday Inn Express Onda, in Castellon Province, is located in The Colomer business centre and near the beaches of the Costa del Azahar. The Holiday Inn Express Onda is just 15 minutes drive from Valencia Airport. It offers free parking for guests and a delicious, complimentary breakfast buffet. We have 2 meeting rooms with natural light and with a capacity for 20 to 90 people. Also, we are strategically located for meetings, because we are close to major companies such as Turbomach and WanXing, both 2 miles away.
We discovered this house by chance, we booked one day in advance and we didn’t know what to expect.
It was a surprise to see it, new, in the center of town, with great decoration, comfortable, fully equipped, big and very cheap.
I don’t have many pictures, but go to its website and you will see some images. It has a capacity for 10 people. It has 5 spacious bedrooms, very pretty, and 3 bathrooms, a huge kitchen-dining room, washing machine, fridge, cooking utensils, heating…everything is new and pretty.
It has stoned walls, which go well with the traditional architecture. It is run by the city hall of Forcall, specifically by the Tourist Office, which is integrated to one side of the house, even though you have independent access.
The woman is very nice and helped us with everything. It used to be a school for the girls of the town. I really recommend it.
This hotel reopened in May 2010. The hotel is fully renovated, and has the perfect facilities to enjoy the best holidays in Peniscola. It is right on the Beachfront, near the old town, on the same street as the old town. Staff is friendly and dedicated to their customers. This year we have the chance to enjoy magnificent views from the cafe on the terrace on top of the hotel.
This hotel is located right in the middle of the beach and I found it to be enchanting. It has a restaurant, pool, room with a terrace where you can dine and eat breakfast while watching the sea and the treatment is enjoyable. It is located on the main avenue of Peniscola and it has a great atmosphere, although you can sleep easily too. The most shocking was the price .......... € 50 a room for 4 people.
The apartments are so close to the beach that you can walk up and down in a swimsuit. A great choice for a relaxing holiday, staying here means that you can forget your car completely. You're close to all amenities - restaurants, cafes, shops, and especially the magnificent citadel. The owners are very friendly, and helped us with advice about where to visit and where to find the best paella. Thanks to them, we went to see the Ebro Delta and the wonderful San Jose caves.

I spent this summer in this great apartment. It is especially great with kids, offering peace of mind for parents and a beach nearby. You can eat right at the hotel and there are plenty of options for kids like pasta and fried vegetables. You can also eat in your apartment or go to a nearby supermarket. The beach could be better because it is basically all sand, but overall, I really recommend this place. Greetings.
During the first weeks of the new season, tourists come from near and far ... some from other parts of Spain, some from abroad, but all wanting to see the best of Peniscola. If you want to get to know this small walled town and its natural park, its people and customs, then this hotel is a great, comfortable choice. Enjoy these photos!
This is one of those places that you’re surprised to find in such a small and out of the way town like Forcall. Having the touristy city of Morella only a few kilometers away is another reason to stay at this 3-star hotel that is a model of taste and attention to detail.
The old, palatial building from the 16th century is one of the gems of the Aragonese renaissance. It houses 20 well-decorated rooms, each with air conditioning, a minibar, and television. Among the hotel facilities, you’ll find a restaurant, spa, laundry service, café, television room, and wonderful cuisine. It’s also handicapped-accessible.
The Palasiet has the best views of the beaches in Benicàssim. You can photograph “postcards” from every corner of the hotel, thanks to the harmony of the sunrays.
It doesn’t matter where you are inside the hotel, you always have spectacular views, for example, in the pool that joins the sea and nature.
The staff is kind and friendly and the food is delicious. Of course, you must enjoy the thermal baths when the sun is setting and profit from the massage therapies. I loved everything!
If you want to spend some unforgettable days in the region of Alto Palancia (Castellón), you have arrived to the right place. This impressive country house is built in the middle of the pine trees of San Juan, between the towns of Altura and Segorbe.
It used to be an Arab farmhouse, and it later belonged to the dominion of Cartuia de Vall de Cristo. With the confiscation of the house, it became part of the patrimony of the Marquis of Almunia.
It was acquired by today’s owners in the forties. After being restored, it was equipped for the most demanding tourists. The Masía is divided into 15 houses that have a living room-dining room, kitchen, bedrooms and a fully equipped bathroom.
Every house is different and they all have views to the pine trees that surround the Masía. It is crossed by the longest scenic route in Europe, that will allow you to hike and bike in an unbeatable space…
Montemar Natura Resort is a resort located 3km from the centre of Peniscola and its beaches. It's in the vicinity of the Natural Park of Sierra de Irta, a tranquil setting with magnificent mountain views, making it the ideal place to go if you want to relax. It's especially recommended for families as here you'll find playgrounds, a barbecue and picnic area, swimming pool with sun loungers, etc. All apartments feature separate bedrooms, one with double bed, one with two beds and also the dining-room has a double sofa bed. There's a bathroom, fully equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, washing machine, hob, and other kitchen utensils, laundry and veranda with furniture and lounger. All apartments have TV and air conditioning / heating. Sheets and towels are included.
The Masia Durbá was built in the 18th century and it has been completely restored. It has 10 rooms with different sizes. We stayed in the Junior Suite Boneo, a spacious room with a cozy decoration, with a chimney, Jacuzzi and great bed.
We stayed there for three nights and it was a wonderful treatment for the stress of everyday life. The peace and quite, with the kindness of the owners and staff made our stay a very relaxing one.
Its location, between the natural parks of La Calderona and Sierra de Espadán, allow you to do hiking trips to enjoy the natural landscapes; it is also near the towns of Navajas and Segorbe, and the wonderful “Salto de la Novia”.
The country house has a small and cozy restaurant, which is not cheap but offers products of high quality. The exterior of the house has a wide field of almond trees, a garden with a pool where you can enjoy the sunny days. All in all, it is a great experience.
We spent the days of 6-8 of April in this hotel in order to disconnect form the noise of the city and to be in contact with the peace of nature.
The experience was incredible. We had everything: sun, rain, hail, wind, sun…everything in the same day. Everything in the hotel was perfect: good homemade food, accompanied by an exquisite service.
The Tinença de Benifassà is marvelous in every possible way: towns full of history, traditional architecture, rural landscapes, forests, full of places to be discovered that allow you to be in contact with nature.
The nature, the gastronomy, the service, everything makes you want to go back there again. We made a route to Coratxàr, where we saw a family of mountain goats, they allowed us to photograph them as they observed us with curiosity before running away.
A marvelous place, we recommend it.
Morella is the capital of the sub-region of Dels Ports in the high mountains near the province of Teruel. El Cardenal Ram is a classic in Morella and was established in 1960. It has 19 rooms, a lobby, and a dining room decorated in the traditional Castilian style.
The renovations in the parador in the castle are still underway, which is a shame since such a pretty and exceptional village (arriving at night while Morella is lit up is spectacular) has only 3 3-star hotels.
