An educational experience
On the cobbled street of Shiprow, going from Union Street to the harbor, you will find this museum dedicated to the sea. Admission is free, and it is open daily from 10 to 5. To really understand Aberdeen you need to know about its relationship with the sea, especially its rebirth after the discovery of oil in the North Sea. In the museum you will see various artifacts and learn about life on an oil tanker.
