Restaurante Adega Nova

Faro is the capital of the Algarve, a predominantly tourist area, so you have to be careful that they don't try to bait and switch you or your wallet will suffer. We had good references for this restaurant, but when we arrived we found something much better than we imagined. It's in the centre of Faro, away from the harbour area and very close to the train station. The place is really cozy, decorated like a Portuguese canteen, all in stone and wood. It has two floors, on the main floor the kitchen is on the left and the tables are on the right, then there's a staircase leading to the upper floor with a smaller, more intimate dining area.
