Botanical Bird Park Loro Sexi

On one side of the hawthorn Park, and with an entrance in Piazza San Cristobal, is the Botanical Loro Sexi Bird Park, (and from the same park you can hear the sound of birds) an enclosure that has over 20 species. It is open throughout the whole year, and is great for both children and for adults. The park houses some 1500 specimens belonging to nearly 200 different species, from the common to the spectacular Paloma Peacock, through the striking species of parrots, cockatoos, macaws, swans, ducks and ostriches. Within the premises, in the highest part of the park, at the foot of the Arab wall of the Castle, we see an interesting garden with all kinds of cactus.
