Church of Our Lady, Queen of Poland

The church of St. Mary was built in the 17th century as a Catholic church but for a time it belonged to the Orthodox Church, it now belongs to the Roman Catholic Community. During the Warsaw Uprising (1944) the church was transformed into a field hospital and today it's the Cathedral of the Polish Armed Forces. It has 7 altars decorated with paintings by famous Polish artists. Its walls are covered with various boards to honor the fallen during World War II. You can admire a monument commemorating the battles the Poles have participated (from 972 to Berlin in 1945). At Easter the Polish army stands
