Dikes of the Bay of St Jean de Luz and Ciboure

The Bay of San Juan de Luz is probably one of the most beautiful in the Basque country. One of the places where I like to admire it most from the tip of Santa Barbara, which are clearly visible from the three huge dams that Napoleon III had built more than a century and a half ago. These dams, which unite Sokoa and the tip of Santa Barbara, protect the bay, making it one of the most tranquil in the area. Each of them has their own name: - Socoa Dyke (next to Fort Sokoa) - L'Artha Dyke (in the middle) - Saint Barbe Dyke (very near the tip of Santa Barbara)
