Ochils Festival

Every year during the month of June, the Ochils Festival takes place in the Ochils Hills. There's something for all age groups, with handicraft workshops, historical and cultural lectures, and guided tours of different hiking trails, where you can learn to better use a compass and maps. All the events are free, although you must register in advance. There are also dances, food and drink tastings (including whisky, of course), and a multitude of family-friendly activities. This time there are more than 40 activities and events available, and as a local resident, I urge you to give them a go!
