First National Bank Building

When visiting downtown St Paul there is one skyscraper that stands out among the rest. It is the First National Bank Building, so noted by the 1st sign that sits at its top. The 1st sign is Illuminated at night on 3 sides which makes for a great view on a snowy, winter's night- on those nights it's visible for a distance of about 20 miles, on clear days you can see it illuminated for almost 75 miles!

Currently used as commercial space, the First National Bank Building was the tallest building in St Paul until 1988. You can walk through the building via the second floor skyway, which connects much of downtown St Paul, so that you don't have to walk outside in the blustery, cold winters.
