Former Railway Station

Although no longer used on the Chaves railway line, the old train station building was preserved and has been remodeled to house the administrative offices of the Cultural Center located just opposite, in one of the buildings that used to be part of the station. The building was built in the early 20th century and has two rises. The main façade has a certain romantic feel, as the front door is decorated with tiles with floral patterns and bows. On the back wall there is a portico. The old train tracks are closed, and are used for the exhibition of machinery and wagons Railroad Museum.
