Harrogate
Harrogate is a pretty little hot springs town, which is situated north of Leeds and York. It's a city that thrives mostly on tourism and is famous not only for its beautiful Turkish baths, but also for its gardens. There's the Harlow Carr, which is maintained by the Royal Society of Horticulture, which is one of only five more gardens around the country. To get there, there's direct access to the M1 motorway which runs from London to Scotland, and taking the train is also convenient, but you'll have to change trains in York or Leeds. The city is a great base for exploring the region. For example, the Yorkshire Dales National Park because it has dozens of hotels and good restaurants.
