Especially Medieval

Piata Huet, which is one of medieval Sibiu's oldest, is surrounded by beautiful historical monuments. Then, there is the Brukenthal school, where, until the 19th century, you could find the German School. This was the city's first school. Many Saxons came from Germany to settle here, and German is still spoken today. The building was built in 1786 and is named after Brukenthal, ve was the governor of Transylvania in the 18th century. He also founded a group of museums and art galleries.
