L'instant Quai is a restaurant in the center of Bordeaux, near Quinconces Square, next to the River Garonne. It offers regional gourmet cuisine and is one of the best in France for traditional dishes. There's an extensive wine list, another regional specialty, 85% of Bordeaux wines are red. It's a nice place, looks like you're with family, but it's narrow and the tables are a bit small. The kitchen serves quality, market-fresh food, the bread is delicious and the duck dishes (such as foie gras, magret and duck confit) are typical of southwestern France. It costs about 30 euros/person.
