La Baie

La Baie, which means in French, the Bay, is one of the three "neighborhoods" that make up the new city of Saguenay, on the banks of the river of the same name. The center of the Baie, on the waterfront, is an area divided in two, the west, the bigger is full of shops, restaurants and hotels and the east is more residential. In this side you can find the pyramid of HaHa, a great work of traditional art. Ther is also plenty of information about the local indiginous people and many things to do, especially in winter, including, snowmobiling, skiing and fishing and of course the beautiful scenery.
