Le Plantagenêt Restuarant

The restaurant Le Plantagenet is part of Hotel Croix Blanche and is located in the vicinity of the Abbey of Fontevraud. This place is great for lunch. The lovely architecture of the abbey makes it seem like an elegantly decorated living rooms. It is one of the best restaurants in the Saumur. It has won three awards of Logis de France and one of Logis Bacchus in reference to the quality and selection of Loire wines. The chef is Hendrik van der Jansen and will surprise you with a varied menu full of tasty regional recipes (truffles, Gélinas Touraine and Saumur wines). His herbs, spices, flowers and vegetables provide a unique and modern cuisine.
