Beautiful fountains
Millennium Square is a new place in the center of Sheffield. It is pedestrian friendly with hundreds of flowers and beautiful fountains. The construction of this site is part of a larger project called the Heart of the City. This project will change the center of Sheffield. It aims to change a gloomy industrial area to an attractive place for people as most of the factories in the area have been closed for years. Besides the Peace Gardens, Millennium Square decorates the center of the city. The fountains have huge steel globes, which are reminiscent of the city's past (which was one of the main products from England).
