Nuestra Señora del Carmen Parish

The Parish of Our Lady of Mount Carmel is located in one of the central streets of the city of Playa del Carmen, which derives its the name from the name of its patron saint, the Virgin of Carmen. The funniest thing to come across in this tiny church was the arconditioning. It is understandable though in this hot Mexican lands. At the entrance to the church a sign indicates that it is open every day from 08.00 to 20.00. Mass times are given as on Thursdays at 09.00 pm and Sundays at 12:00 and afternoon at 17.00 and 19.00 hours. The truth is that the times I had been to Playa del Carmen had not
