Oakland Beach

Accustomed to the quiet beaches of northern Spain, this beach in Chicago really caught our eye. It is located in the center of the city on a street full of skyscrapers! We watched in disbelief as people quietly sunbathed or went swimming amid the urban chaos. It was such a surprise to see this kind of "landscape" and the enormous contrast of the skyscrapers right behind it.
