The only question is whether it's more beautiful seen from above or below. The square of Fara is located in the upper town, but a little off-centre with respect to the old town itself. With your back to the former convent of St Augustine, you can admire this beautiful square and its expanse of green, framed by ancient medieval houses in pleasant pastel colours. A view of the square is just as enjoyable from above, from the gardens surrounding the Rock. Looking down the yard, the former convent will appear in all its glory. Do not miss it!
