The Slug And Lettuce

The Slug and Lettuce in Liverpool besides being a restaurant is also where you can dance the night away on the floor below. It's very centrally located, a few steps from the Cavern Club, the harbor area, the Beatles museum and Queen's Square. The restaurant (really a restaurant chain) is pretty good and is a typical English restaurant-pub. Apart from the ever-present beers, you can also have a coffee, tea or a sweet at a table, or eat a hamburger etc. - though they also have a small selection of food, even eastern Mediterranean food! The site is not expensive, it's quite nice. It seems to me more familiar and less "prefabricated" like Burger King or McDonald's.
