Main street in Oxford

St Aldate's is the main street leading south through Oxford. It starts at the Carfax, an intersection between the four main roads, and extends to the college of Christchurch, one of the most famous in Oxford University and where you'll find the city's cathedral. As you walk down from the Carfax, on the left you'll see the Town Hall, the biggest building in the city, followed by the entrance of Christchurch. Above the entrance is the belltower, Tom Tower, that has become a symbol of the city. Past Christchurch you'll find the faculty of music, and in front is Alice's Shop, made famous by Alice Liddell,
