The Swedish American Museum Center (Chicago) underwent a visually stunning renovation of its facade and lobby to improve the building's energy efficiency in 2009. It offers meatball tastings, craft classes, dance, genealogy and Swedish language. They also feature temporary exhibitions of contemporary Swedish art.
