The Ebro Valley

This is the landscape and bedrock on which the castle is built. There is a spectacular viewpoint where you can see as far as Logroño, the Sierra de Cantabria, Alava, and Navarra. There are lots of vineyards that wind through the valley and plenty of roads and trails to explore on foot or mountain bike. The place has lots of legends and history, a history which has been written into the very stones with which this castle was built over 12 centuries ago.
