Situated in a lovely old building that looks like a castle

The tourist information office in Lille is situated in a lovely old building that looks like a castle, in the Rihour sqaure. You can get there by subway, and it´s very close to the Grand Place - you can go there on foot. The office is open daily from 9:30 am to 18:30, and on Sunday it closes between 12-14 for lunch. The Rihour palace, which is located in the tourist office, was built in 1453, when the dukes of Burgundy ruled the city. Damaged by fire in 1700, it was later restored, and it was home to the council until 1916. Now you can only see the grand staircase and the two chapels, but the rest of the building is more modern.
