York is a precious walled medieval city, located between the Ousse River and the Foss River, on the part of the English county of Yorkshire. It was founded in Roman times, but was also of great importance in Norman times and as such there are medieval remains today and that give this city a special charm. Despite having many attractions for visitors, its main attraction is the cathedral complex, known as "York Minster", where a stunning cathedral, possibly the most famous in the UK.
