The Bar Restaurant Nord Est is a spacious local watering hole with cocktails, juices, wine and tapas. It's very nice to sit on the terrace that overlooks the harbor and enjoy a good mojito, or Bloody Mary, or in my case, a kiwi juice. Also, inside the room it's very nice and decorated with some plants and there's a large window to see the ocean. They also tend to host small exhibitions for local artists. Inside there's a small boutique with handmade crafts and clothing.
The Far del Cap de Creus Restaurant is located in Faro, in Cadaqués, Spain. The restaurant has stunning sea views that can be enjoyed while tasting the delicious dishes that are prepared by the best chefs. They hand select the raw ingredients in order to maintain the original flavor in each bite. There's a smoking section and a non-smoking section. Have a great time here.
El Barroco is a restaurant on one of the streets leading down to Cadaqués's promenade. It has a terrace. The whole place is highly decorated with trinkets, tables, chairs and all kinds of utensils and objects that are on sale. The owner is very attentive, like most Lebanese people. There are several menus available, the price is usually between 21-26 euros, and you get your choice of mezes (starters) and a first dish. Everything's delicious. Dining here is advisable whenever you want to try a different kind of place, because you won't find anywhere better on the Catalan coast.
After looking for Cadaques for over an hour, we sat down in this restaurant that looked good. Everything was perfect, exquisite, the food, the service, everything. I recommend ordering the mussels or the seafood spaghetti, but everything was spectacular. And, the best part is the price. In short, it's a ten, I recommend it.
Bar La Catalana is a good tapas bar, with a terrace, and a varied menu with good prices. We ordered the calamari, potatoes stuffed with meat, and some delicious tumaca bread that's usually present in these areas. On the menu they also have mussels, cockles, and many different seafood options. In the vicinity there are several bars that are similar, but this one looked a little more lively, probably because it had the lowest prices.
The Casino La Amistad is now a cultural center that has a cafe that's open to the public. It has white architecture, with respect to the environment and is at the limit of the Cadaqués city center. The modernist building has neo-classical decorative features, and was built in 1870. Initially it was a charity center called La Beneficia.
Authentic Catalan cuisine seafood as always: stews, rice et. made with delicious ingredients, fresh fish and good work in the kitchen. The owners are from Cadaques. They have lived there for their whole lives and have inherited the secrets of cooking simple and authentic food that their ancestors developed. Good service and a splendid view of the northern part of Cadaques complement the recommendation. Prices are reasonable. Although it is not a cheap restaurant, when you consider the quality, good service and a great location, it has its price.
The Pizzeria Cesar is a small family style restaurant in Cadaques, on the street that goes right in front of the church. Whenever I'm in Cadaques I usually go to this restaurant. In addition to the excellent service given by the owner (and waiter), Cesar, and his wife, the food is delicious. The pizzas and the generous portions of the dishes in general aren't too big, but when my girlfriend and I go there we usually order the parmesan and provolone salad and a pizza each. We usually order homemade chocolate cake for dessert because, depending on the day it's usually really fresh! We usually pay between 20-30 € each including drinks. Highly recommended (7/10).
The Es Cau Cadaques is a small, local place that's very relaxed and has good views of the church and the sea. Here you can find tapas and homemade burgers. The Beef and Lamb meat is also organic. There are juices, teas and beverages that are also organic. They have an assortment of cheeses in the province of Girona and very good guijuelo ham. Ahhh! And beef carpaccio, pork trotter carpaccio, and very good snails!
