Forests in Ojen
Juanar Pine Forest
(3)
This is one of the most beautiful places in the mountains of Malaga. It is part of Ojén. Following the path in the pine forest, you can take several routes. One of the hardest is the one that takes you to the peak of the Concha, to 1,215 meters. The scenery is breathtaking, all around Marbella and its surroundings. My favourite place to rest is at the Parador del Juanar, a beautiful place where you can enjoy olives ad a cold beer.
Villages in Ojen
Ojén
(1)
A village in the mountains with narrow streets and many magical places. It is very close to Marbella and just a stone's throw from the beach. This place combines natural beauty and the charm of a small town. Certainly a good place to spend a few days relaxing.

Ojén: Inspiration for the Senses
(2)
Hoxán and now Ojen are a spell of words that conjure up the inevitable Arab past. Ojén has narrow streets and white houses with colorful flowerbeds of reds, blues, pinks, purples and yellows. Ojén is known for songs and goblins, secrets and legends of spirits. Ojén is known for Picasso's "Still Life Spanish". Port of Ojén
From Monda, the road leading down to the Costa del Sol goes through this port, which serves as a balcony over the sea. As an act of defiance against the urbanization of the coast, the small town of white houses maintains its steep streets and unique traditional charm. Ojen Oil Mill
(1)
Ojén is proud to have a valuable site where the memory of its ancestors has become a religion: The Oil Mill. Originally from industrial Malaga in late nineteenth century, the Mill has a number of outer courtyard barns, with a structure similar to that of a farmhouse. This was where the olives were deposited before being moved for grinding. All the workers were concentrated around various gatherings in the courtyard, making it a true community center. The interior of the Oil Mill has a reception, a small shop where you can buy local products, a room which houses the mill which is in perfect condition and operation and several wells with a boiler to heat the water.

Juanar Refuge
I come here a lot in the winter to do some of the hiking trails offered by the park. You can also gather chestnuts.
