Unusual Places in Deltebre
The Fangar Lighthouse
(10)
In the north of the Ebro Delta is one of the most interesting lighthouses you will ever see, surrounded by white sand dunes. It is very easily accessible - you can drive right up to the lighthouse but the road is not paved. I recommend visiting at dawn and dusk, when the birds come out to find food. The best time of year is the fall, October to November, when the farmers are harvesting the rice.

Boat Trip on the Delta of the Ebro
(7)
A couple of summers ago I had the opportunity to go on a boat tour along the Ebro Delta with some friends and I loved it. We went in August and it was pretty hot, but I loved the experience. The route along the river was good, but when we got to the point where it meets the sea it was amazing. I would recommend those views to anyone. We had a great time.

Riumar Beach
(2)
There are still unspoilt beaches in Spain and many are in the Ebro Delta - one of these is Riumar beach. The sense of vastness and aloneness in front of the sea and sand is amazing, a place of tranquility, where there are just 3 or 4 people on the entire beach. There is also a pleasant beach bar, where you can sit and watch the sea. A great place to visit.

Actividades tradicionales en Delta del Ebro
(3)
Traditional activities encompass a lot of things you have the ability to do with Mr. Polet, the architect of Delta Polet, which is the company that takes care of all this. Mr. Polet taught us a lot of things about the Delta, and he explained the variety of resources that are there. Also, we went to Mon Natura and he showed us how to plant rice, and showed us how to do it well, especially by his own actions. It seemed like a very authentic activity that puts you in touch with nature. In addition, Mr. Polet invites you to contact him at the end of the month to see how your part of the rice plot is doing. You can send him pictures and he'll tell you when it's time to come back and collect it. It was a great experience working with Mr. Polet as much as the activity itself was.

I've made this trip I don't know how many times and I'm still not sick of it yet. It's really very nice and I recommend it for everyone, along with Miravet they're truly unique. It's very relaxing and it has a lovely river view, you have to take advantage of it if you're out and about around here in order to enjoy this paradise of sand and rice.

Mussel of Avi Agustí
(5)
Although a lot of people don't know it, there are some well-known mussels in the Ebro Delta. Where the saltwater and freshwater meet in the river Ebro, these mollusks are a special delicacy. In addition to a being a very pleasant visit. Spending a day at sea is an experience. You can taste the seafood that comes from the area, along with a drink while you're taught about the cultivation and creation of these creatures. Highly Recommended!

La Marquesa Beach
(1)
A good time to visit the Ebro Delta is in the month of May, when the rice fields are planted and the landscape is even greener. From the Ebro Delta, we suggest walking the path to Marquesa beach, which is an extensive sandy area with calm waters that has yet to be touched by any type of construction. From here, there's a path that crosses the dunes, leading to the peninsula of the Fang, an important place for nesting birds, among others, which is full of flamingos at sunset. In addition to the desert aspect here, there's a reverberation phenomenon that lets you see water illusions on sunny days.
