This is a trail of about 12 miles that goes around a mountain range above Lake George in the Adirondack Region (New York State). We went for a 10-hour hike. The best time to go is between 7 and 21 October, when you can enjoy the changing colors of the maples.
I hiked up to the top of this waterfall to get this gorgeous shot, and stood in awe as the cool spray hit my face and the water tumbled down over the edge of those ancient stones, standing strong against the test of time.
