The Hermes hotel is run by a family who makes you feel at home. They helped us make reservations and talked with a rental car company to bring the car to our hotel, where we made all the arrangements and paid. They also came to get us at the port of Mykonos, as taxis are hard to find. It has a gas station nearby, which is very convenient because usually everyone rents cars or quads. It's so close to town that you can walk (about ten minutes), but it's slightly uphill, which means you can enjoy great views, especially from the pool. The rooms are simply furnished, but comfy and nice, and have a private balcony. The buffet breakfast is very good. It is a 4 star hotel that is raising their rates because of the fame it's getting, but it's still affordable. If I visit Mykonos again, I think I would stay here.
This hotel is beautiful, I recommend it 100%, for its views, for the price, service, cleanliness ... throughout. Not a 10 out of 10, a 8'5-9 because of its location. And is that because even though the island of Mykonos is small, you have to walk for a while to reach the capital of the island (at least 15 minutes). It is therefore advisable, to hire a car to travel around the island and then returning to the hotel at night. Well I loved it , Breakfast was not bad at all and the rooms were very nice. I have uploaded pictures so you can see what I say. They had a pool that was too large, so the water was very cold, and that was in early September (it was almost colder than the sea, amazing). The rooms are each in a small building, not your typical hotel hallways, and in total 19 rooms, small and very quiet. Not much communication: no wi-fi, no internet in the hotel but if you are going to relax as you will ... What do you need it for? Other services, a bar next to the pool, utilities next to the pool ... good service :) I suggest it if the economy is not very good, and also I think for the price it deserves 3 stars, maybe 4 (I don't know how many they have)
I spent the night at this hotel and the highlight was the pool area and the hospitality of Panos, the hotel's owner. It's a little out of the centre, but you can walk there, which is recommended due to the chaotic traffic around the island.
The best thing about this hotel is its location with breathtaking views. Nice rooms are renovated, well decorated and clean. The mojitos poolside bar are delicious, and always good atmosphere. The hotel restaurant is very good. A hotel to return.
This hotel is known for its hospitality, great reception, location and the quality of the rooms. It's just 2 minutes from the Wind Mill and bus station, and 4 from Little Venice, approximately. The building has a communal terrace, perfect for lunch or dinner. The rooms are decorated very originally and are very practical (all of them have a small fridge and dryer). In addition, your stay includes a small breakfast (tea and coffee with some pastries) and the cleanliness is good. One thing was the bathroom is rather small, but since most of the buildings in this area are old houses turned into small hotels, I don't think the bathroom size would differ in the other hotels. Very remarkable service provided by the manager who was very helpful with our group, as I imagine he is with all his guests. Experience fully recommended!

During our short stay in Mykonos, we decided to stay at the Kamari hotel, which is a short distance from the beach of Plati Yialos. It is a very good building, with terraces displaying the traditional Greek white and blue colours. The rooms are simple and clean, with a nice private terrace. The nicest part of the hotel is the pool area, which is very large with chairs, umbrellas and a snack bar. The buffet breakfast is good, with cheeses and meats, as well as a selection of jams, honey, juices, hot drinks, bread and toast. In July, we paid 84 euros for a triple room with breakfast. There's a multitude of restaurants nearby, offering fresh fish at great prices. Psarou Beach isn't one of the most fashionable parts of the island, but it's very busy. You can rent a scooter nearby. If you call a taxi from the hotel to the port or the airport, negotiate the price in advance to avoid disappointment.

This is a small but charming beach hotel. The rooms aren't the best, but the beach is right on the doorstep, and the upper terrace is fantastic. Avoid the lunch, but the location and charming staff (it's family run) can make it worthwhile ...
