    Hotel Aire de Bardenas
When at night you see a signpost to a hotel that tells you to take a dirt road, you think: where the hell have I booked? When you arrive and all you see are huge wooden boxes, you think... Surely I’ve made a mistake! When you enter you go to the bedroom, you see the iron bathtub in the patio, you’re going to eat a meal of only vegetables from their garden saying: "Yes! This was the place I wanted."
    Paradors in Olite
    Parador de Olite
Well I don’t quite understand why this parador (state-run luxury hotel) is only three stars, in what hotel of this category do they take your bags up to your room, make your bed mid-afternoon if you rest after lunch, and treat you with such absolute delicacy! I get a special thrill when I stay in these types of buildings that the parador chain is so unique in offering. It is not the same staying in a new building with minimalist decor and impersonal service (the most common), than to stay in a fifteenth century castle-palace that from Carlos III, to our current royals have passed through, as well as countless famous people where affable and polite treatment is the norm. This castle-palace is French in style, worthy of being on the banks of the Loire, an unusual architecture in the peninsula. This is due to the tastes of Dona Leonor, wife of Charles III who was of French origin; it seems like a fairy-tale building. Her son, the Prince of Viana (where the Parador gets its name from) came to incorporate a small zoo next to the hanging gardens in the interior courtyards established by his father. In the oldest part of the building complex is the reception and a few rooms (they say along with ghosts), the rest of them being in a modern annexe. The decor is classic and the back rooms have lovely viewpoints from which the panoramas are beautiful and the tranquillity absolute. Do not fail to look at the accompanying photos of the evening storm I enjoyed from them. Needless to say that breakfast with fresh juices, typical products and other foods is unparalleled. Anyway, a ten for this site nestled in a beautiful plaza in the centre of this charming and historic place. This really is a spot to lose oneself.

    Sercotel Europa hotel
I spent four days during Easter in the Europa Hotel and highly recommend it - the best location in Pamplona, next to the Plaza del Castillo, the centre of the centre of Pamplona. The room is up to the standard you'd expect from 3 stars: a bit small but clean, with tea and coffee service. The breakfast is very complete and very good quality. I must not forget the great restaurant they have, with fantastic Mediterranean cuisine. If you are a hotel guest, you have a special price available. I only have one minor complaint, the hotel has a lot of stairs before you get to the lift, and since I had my baby in a pushchair, it was a bit inconvenient.

    NH Pamplona Iruña Park hotel
Photos of the new decoration I like the new decor of the rooms a lot. I often go to this hotel and they have always treated me well. This is very close to Iturrama Yamaguchi Park and is a University area with many places to eat and drink. Just across the street is the "International Brewery" where you can test very interesting beers.

    Pamplona Catedral Hotel
This 4 star hotel is located next to the church of San Fermin, in the historical centre of Navarra, making it a good option to travel around Pamplona without needing a car. It has all the amenities you'd expect from a hotel of this category, with private parking, fast wifi, a very complete minibar, etc. The rooms are spacious and bright, with large windows, at least on the western side of the building. The views are superb, looking across the valley and without any buildings in front to block the sunset. The room had a very comfortable bed, and a large bathroom with all the amenities you'd want. A good hotel, with a full, fresh breakfast buffet, with plenty of fruit.

    Maisonnave hotel
Highly recommended hotel that's right in the center of Pamplona, a 2 minute walk to Estafeta Street. Clean modern rooms, free wifi, decent breakfast and a pretty good restaurant with a daily menu that is worth trying. It also has a tapas bar if you want something less formal, but I didn't try it. It even has a sauna and free gym. There was no parking at the hotel, instead it's a 30 meter walk away and you can hear quite a lot of activity throughout the hotel, likes doors closing or people going up and down stairs. Everything else was really good, plus the staff were very attentive and sympathetic. I'll certainly come back to the same hotel next time.

    Gran Hotel La Perla
It's a 5 star hotel that's been recently renovated. Famous for having hosted celebrities in the middle of the 20th century and it closed maintaining its reputation. Now thanks to the huge renovations of the castle square and the construction of an underground car park, we can talk more about the most luxurious hotel in pamplona. The price? Prohibitive.

    Casa Sario Rural Cottage
In a superb natural environment, near the Pyrenees and the Irati forest, is Casa Sario, a small country hotel with only seven rooms; to relax away from the noise of the city. Being an old restored house, the rooms are all different in size, albeit with the same fittings. If possible, avoid the room number thirteen, which is the smallest in the hotel as can be seen in the photos. As for the bathroom, it is modern and complete. I visited the hotel on a trip organized by Minube, occupying all the rooms, all others were far more spacious and with a very pleasant rural decor. The price is right for a hotel of this nature, as here one pays for the tranquillity and the comfort of being in the heart of the mountains. There is Wi-Fi in all rooms, but no elevator, so one has to carry the suitcase up the stairs. Furthermore, there is a restaurant, although I do not know if only for the tenants. The dishes are large and very tasty, with enough variety in the menu to choose from. For 17 €, it is a fairly recommendable option to eat well.

    Cross Elorz hotel
I was visiting the hotel you mentioned, where they were very nice and showed me to the rooms, and very close to it is the Oasis Pamplona which also has large rooms, a small sauna and gym which they let me use for free as well as the wifi. By the way, for me it was cheaper. Sorry I haven't taken photos but I found it so interesting.

    Sercotel Hotel Mendebaldea
We spent four days in Pamplona staying in the Mendelbaldea Suites. We stayed in a large, bright apartment for two; everything had windows except the kitchen and the bathroom, and there was a terrace. The lounge/dining room is huge, with a great sofa. The bedroom is also spacious and beautifully decorated, with two very large beds with good mattresses, full bathroom with bath, in the bathroom there is a washing machine and dryer, and the kitchen is big. The apartment has modern decor and a cozy parquet floor. there's a daily maid service, free wifi and 24-hour reception. The staff are helpful and friendly - you have all the services of a hotel, but the comfort of a private apartment. It's located in a great area, with gardens all around, and all kinds of services, bakeries, restaurants, coffee, supermarkets, banks, good connections with the historic center of Pamplona, there is a bus (n 4) with a stop in front of the apartments, and in 10 minutes you are in the center. The bad thing is that in the area, all parking has to be paid for, but the apartments have their own garage and the price is very economical. Pamplona is virtually all pay parking area, so it's worth leaving the car behind and taking public transport. Highlights of Pamplona include its parks, the Citadel, the chapel of San Fermin, the Cathedral and City Hall. Just a few days, but a really good time.

    Youth Hostels in Pamplona
Pilgrims Municipal Albergue Jesus and Mary
This is one of the most beautiful hostels, in a seventeenth century church. It is in the centre of Pamplona, in the old town. It has three floors, and plenty of glass to allow light to enter. The bunks are aligned, separated by wooden walls, and at the top there's a kitchen and a very nice dining room. The bathrooms are cleaned regularly, and it has a room with washers and dryers for your clothes. It costs 7 euros, with an extra euro for the bottom sheet and pillowcase. Here they are fabric, not disposable like in most hostels, and in the morning you could deposit it in the laundry basket before leaving. They close at 10, but as we arrived on the day of the European Cup final, they opened late for us.
