I spent four days during Easter in the Europa Hotel and highly recommend it - the best location in Pamplona, next to the Plaza del Castillo, the centre of the centre of Pamplona. The room is up to the standard you'd expect from 3 stars: a bit small but clean, with tea and coffee service. The breakfast is very complete and very good quality. I must not forget the great restaurant they have, with fantastic Mediterranean cuisine. If you are a hotel guest, you have a special price available. I only have one minor complaint, the hotel has a lot of stairs before you get to the lift, and since I had my baby in a pushchair, it was a bit inconvenient.
Photos of the new decoration
I like the new decor of the rooms a lot. I often go to this hotel and they have always treated me well. This is very close to Iturrama Yamaguchi Park and is a University area with many places to eat and drink. Just across the street is the "International Brewery" where you can test very interesting beers.
This 4 star hotel is located next to the church of San Fermin, in the historical centre of Navarra, making it a good option to travel around Pamplona without needing a car. It has all the amenities you'd expect from a hotel of this category, with private parking, fast wifi, a very complete minibar, etc. The rooms are spacious and bright, with large windows, at least on the western side of the building. The views are superb, looking across the valley and without any buildings in front to block the sunset. The room had a very comfortable bed, and a large bathroom with all the amenities you'd want. A good hotel, with a full, fresh breakfast buffet, with plenty of fruit.
Highly recommended hotel that's right in the center of Pamplona, a 2 minute walk to Estafeta Street. Clean modern rooms, free wifi, decent breakfast and a pretty good restaurant with a daily menu that is worth trying. It also has a tapas bar if you want something less formal, but I didn't try it. It even has a sauna and free gym. There was no parking at the hotel, instead it's a 30 meter walk away and you can hear quite a lot of activity throughout the hotel, likes doors closing or people going up and down stairs. Everything else was really good, plus the staff were very attentive and sympathetic. I'll certainly come back to the same hotel next time.
It's a 5 star hotel that's been recently renovated. Famous for having hosted celebrities in the middle of the 20th century and it closed maintaining its reputation. Now thanks to the huge renovations of the castle square and the construction of an underground car park, we can talk more about the most luxurious hotel in pamplona. The price? Prohibitive.
It's notable for its full service. Business amenities include charged WIFI and meeting rooms for small groups. Room service is available 24 hours a day. Event facilities consist of a ballroom and conference rooms. It provides an airport shuttle (for an additional cost). The staff can arrange tour assistance for tickets and tours, wedding services, event catering, and dry cleaning services.
We spent four days in Pamplona staying in the Mendelbaldea Suites. We stayed in a large, bright apartment for two; everything had windows except the kitchen and the bathroom, and there was a terrace. The lounge/dining room is huge, with a great sofa. The bedroom is also spacious and beautifully decorated, with two very large beds with good mattresses, full bathroom with bath, in the bathroom there is a washing machine and dryer, and the kitchen is big. The apartment has modern decor and a cozy parquet floor. there's a daily maid service, free wifi and 24-hour reception. The staff are helpful and friendly - you have all the services of a hotel, but the comfort of a private apartment.
It's located in a great area, with gardens all around, and all kinds of services, bakeries, restaurants, coffee, supermarkets, banks, good connections with the historic center of Pamplona, there is a bus (n 4) with a stop in front of the apartments, and in 10 minutes you are in the center. The bad thing is that in the area, all parking has to be paid for, but the apartments have their own garage and the price is very economical. Pamplona is virtually all pay parking area, so it's worth leaving the car behind and taking public transport. Highlights of Pamplona include its parks, the Citadel, the chapel of San Fermin, the Cathedral and City Hall. Just a few days, but a really good time.
Lanjarón is a gorgeous town with a wide avenue lined with shops, bars, hotels, and other small and steep streets. Right at the back of the Sierra Nevada, it's the perfect place for a peaceful, quiet getaway.
This is one of the most beautiful hostels, in a seventeenth century church. It is in the centre of Pamplona, in the old town. It has three floors, and plenty of glass to allow light to enter. The bunks are aligned, separated by wooden walls, and at the top there's a kitchen and a very nice dining room. The bathrooms are cleaned regularly, and it has a room with washers and dryers for your clothes. It costs 7 euros, with an extra euro for the bottom sheet and pillowcase. Here they are fabric, not disposable like in most hostels, and in the morning you could deposit it in the laundry basket before leaving. They close at 10, but as we arrived on the day of the European Cup final, they opened late for us.
The beautiful hostal Pilgrim was built in 2007, on the site of an old convent. It is an ideal destination for pilgrims traveling to and from Santiago de Compostela. Note that to get access to the room, you have to show your credentials, as its exclusively for pilgrims. The cost is very cheap, and the atmosphere is simply spectacular. The hotel is located in the heart of Pamplona, so you have everything nearby.

The AC Hotel Ciudad is fine, like all the other AC hotels I've stayed in. In the surrounding area, there are many bars and places to eat. The downside is that it's quite far from the centre - about 20 minutes walking.

You can find great Pamplona hotel deals from a variety of accommodations, with something for all tastes and styles and prepared for any budget. The city receives both Spanish and international tourists, and although the infrastructure of Pamplona hotels is sufficient to accommodate the usual number of tourists, be careful if you want to travel during the world-famous San Fermin festival. At this time, occupation is nearly 100% in all the hotels in Pamplona, so make sure you book well in advance! You don't want to arrive in the city and find that all the Pamplona lodging is full!
As well as hotels from two to five stars, you can find guesthouses, stately homes, and youth hostels for those looking for cheap places to stay in Pamplona.
