The Archaelogical Museum of Zagreb was founded in 1846, and is located in the Palace of Vranyczany-Hafner. There are 460,000 exhibits within. In the prehistoric collection, you can find information about the development of many cultures from the Paleolithic period to the Iron Age. There's a collection of old Greek monuments, and the coin collection is one of the largest and most important in Europe.
