The Cleveland Center for Contemporary Art, located in Cleveland, Ohio, was founded in 1968 by Marjorie Talalay, Agnes Gund, and Nina Castelli Sundell. At that time, it was called The New Gallery. The Center was renamed as it is today in 1984. It exhibits works by Andy Warhol, Christo, and Claes Oldenburg. Previouly, the museum exhibited the works of Jim Hodges and Hildur Asgeirsdottir Jónsson, among other artists. The museum places special emphasis on artists of the Greater Cleveland area and the rest of Northeast Ohio.
