Catedrala Schimbarea Fata - Cathedral of the Transfiguration

The Orthodox Cathedral is in the central Boulevard Eroilor , opposite the National Theatre . The seat of the Diocese of Cluj and one of the most important religious buildings in the city. Built in 1921-1933 in Byzantine style, the exterior highlights are the 4 towers surrounding the central tower covered with domes and arches surrounded by medallions and carved in stone.
