Dugald Stewart Monument

Dugald Stewart was a writer and philosopher who was born and grew up in Scotland in the eighteenth century. Located at the top of Calton Hill, the monument was built in 1831 to recognize the importance of his thinking which formed the "Scottish philosophy" movement during the Enlightenment.
