1 review of Echnaloch Bay

Ideal place

On Burray island, along the road that connects to the main island, there is a small bay called Echnaloch. It's representative of the beaches and landscapes characteristic of the southern islands, mainly Burray and South Ronaldsay. These islands were separate long ago, but are now united by the power of man. As is typical in the Scottish isles, there is a secluded beach, a haven for fishermen, white sand and cold crystalline waters. It's an ideal place to stop during a hike and breathe in the sea.
