The most famous cemetery in Normandy is the American cemetery, but the Germans actually have their own as well. Located in La Cambe, the figures in this cemetery are shocking: more than 21,000 soldiers lie here (mostly in double graves). Some of them are in the central mound, and still remain unidentified.
